New Tempest Table Top TorchTM
Tabletop Tempest Torch A small tabletop version of the Tempest Torch shows the spinning, spiral-like flame fueled by a small can of gel fuel. This model can be burned inside or outside for a beautiful presentation of fire and light wherever you display it. The Gel fuel is non-toxic and clean-burning so there’s no clean-up required. The Gel fuel provides roughly 1 1/2 - 2 hours of burn time, and can be purchased at most home improvement stores. The Table Top Tempest Torch will be available June 1st.

New Tempest TorchTM with Electric Ignition
We have just released our new Tempest Torch with electric ignition. This innovation allows you to install up to 25 Tempest Torches on a single 15 amp circuit and light all of them with the flip of a single 115 V AC switch from the comfort of your home! You may also install them on a programmable timer or connect to a Smart Home system.
The secret of the new Tempest ignition system is a low voltage controller concealed near the base of each torch that charges a hotwire igniter on the torch and opens an electronically controlled valve for the gas. The Tempest Torches can be installed in all the various configurations now available: post mounted, pier mounted or wall mounted.
Tempest Torch at the 2010 Winter Olympics
A torch of another kind will be burning at the 2010 Winter Olympics – the Tempest Torch by Travis Industries. Look for it throughout both the Vancouver pavilion and Whistler village venues; it even made it into the background of a recently-aired Today Show. Check out the video below!
